Retention Cord Anyone?
I NEED A EYEPRO RETENTION CORD THAT WILL KEEP THESE
GLASSES TIGHT AGAINST MY FACE WHEN EXITING AN AIRCRAFT AT 100+ MPH DURING A
PARACHUTE JUMP.
When I jumped military in the past, I used COMBAT MAG-1 glasses that had a back strap girth-hitched permanently to the left/right "C" arms that could not slide off. COMBAT MAG-1 glasses can be worn UNDER field protective masks (FPMs) aka gas masks avoiding all the complicated eye insert fumbling. The problem is COMBAT MAG-1 glasses during off-duty, civilian normie life LOOK LIKE SHIT hence the nickname, "Birth Control Glasses" (BCGs).
Can the ABTOCAR Spy glasses be worn under FPM/Gas Masks? Their stiff temples/arms may mitigate against it since the EYEPRO stated as FPM/GM capable were always back strap only aka goggles. It may be goggles YES, glasses, NO under FPM/GMs.

I hope the ABTOCAR glasses will not be negatively viewed and actually look good. However, what do I know about fashion, right? THERE MUST BE A HOLE ON THE END OF THE TEMPLES/ARMS so the strap/cord can securely attach to it--and CANNOT slide off.
This means 2x holes must be drilled into the ear piece ends of the ABTOCAR Spy glasses.
Is there any electronic wiring there that will be ruined if a hole were drilled there?

Military tactical eyepro like the BOGS-1 and BOGS-5 offer the temples/arms/sticks to be removed and a securely attached strap fitted making them into defacto Sun, Wind, Dust Goggles (SWDGs). This is great for kinetic operations--but these Eyepro don't have electronics for SPY surveillance/overwatch operations or indulgence sport video movie making less obtrusive than a GOPRO box--like the ABTOCAR glasses.
Summary/Conclusion
We're not out-of-the-woods yet!
As good as the above is..there are problems:

ASAP we will source a Protective Belt Pouch for EYEPRO (PBPE).
My Field eXpedient (Fx) is to carry the ABTOCAR Spy glasses in their hard case in my SERE Fanny pack main pouch when outside in the sun wearing my CDI EYEPRO sunglasses with EARPRO on each temple/arm. If I am outside and in kinetic F = M x A jeopardy, I switch to the ABTOCAR Spy CLEAR ballistic glasses or a BOGS-1/5 SWDGs.
I expect to wear the ABTOCAR Spy glasses MOST of the time--indoors or outdoors, HD in private or EDC in public--so the Fanny Pack main compartment can easily carry my SERE Key Ring. Call this 90% of the time. The CDI SUNglasses only go on 10% usually when I'm driving during a sunny day. At night, the prescription ABTOCAR Spy glasses are worn.
If I don't want the SERE Fanny Pack on me, I can carry the SERE Key Ring in my pants pocket and carry the CDI sunglasses in a case Velcro-attached to the back of my 007 Spy Baseball Cap:

Ideally, a PBPE would have outer mini-pouchettes for colored lenses to be switched out so only 1x EYEPRO could do all missions--the ABTOCAR 90% in the shade, its CLEAR lenses switch to SUN lenses for the 10% sunny outdoors. For night driving, YELLOW lenses could be switched in, too.
