SpyTHINK 043: HOT WHEELS emTOWERMENT!

 

Previously, we discovered keeping HOT WHEELS and other models in their clear plastic packaging and push-pinning them into walls. Smaller push pins can attach them to foam display boards but they will work loose and you may painfully find them by stepping on them!

Push pins certainly don't work on cardboard boxes that could act as display towers...a better way was needed...and a better way was found....

Spray adhesive!

I had some having experienced its failure to secure grass or soil "powders" to make diorama terrain bases....

VOILA!

Spray adhesive to the TOP of a HOT WHEELS card and they attach securely to the desired tower box. Only the top needs to be adhered so you can pull the card/model away if needed.

NEW WAY of Accessing Carded Models...

We've also found you can carefully cut a "U" door on the bottom of the bubble plastic to access/return dies-cast models without having to cut the access door from the card.

If you are VERY CAREFUL (uggh) you can cut your access door in the bubble wrap like butter with an Exacto knife...Did we say be VERY CAREFUL?
