NAA offers several 5x .22LR or .22 Winchester Magnum Rifle (WMR) stealthy, mini-revolvers which are VERY SMALL, almost un-detectable from trouble-maker Karens; QUIET firing (sub-sonic ammo) systems that can be "EDC" aka OPEN-CARRIED on your belt with its clever Holster Grip (HG) model offering a large handle that can be clipped like a knife to your belt outside the waist band (OWB). A quick lift to unclip followed by a flick puts the HG into action. The problem is for the same $256 price of a NAA .22LR you can get a 8-shot, rapidly PRELoaded Magazine (PRELM) reloading, 9mm KelTec PF9....
So it comes down to 3x things the NAA .22LR can do--which the PF9 aka sub-compact pistol can't:
* Not really be seen in open carry; but clearly is a visible gun so there's no legal quibbling as a folding .22LR that looks like a selfphone might invite; 5x shots compared to just 1x desperation shot with the selfphone look-alike guns
* Very quiet with sub-sonic ammo
* Doesn't eject spent shell casings
Thus, if you have to self-defend against multiple thugs--not making a ruckus for more thugs to converge on you--and must quickly leave the unsafe area--the NAA .22LR is the answer.
Historically, revolvers hold their spent cartridge cases instead of ejecting them like an automatic does which provides corrupt LEOs forensic evidence to frame you even though you were acting in self-defense.
